A 4-Session Action-Learning Lab for HR & People Leaders

Jump-Start HR for a Future-Fit Company.

Build your AI Chief of Staff in week one. Ship a real HR project by week seven.

A small cohort of 6–8 CHROs and CPOs who leave with a working AI assistant, one real project already in motion inside their own organization, and a peer network that gets it — not another AI course you'll never finish.

Real project, already underway

Every HR leader has been told to "have an AI plan." Almost none have one that's actually moving the needle.

The gap isn't ambition or tooling. It's that AI plans stay theoretical because nobody forces the sequence: pick one thing, research it properly, commit to an owner and a timeline, and start.

1.6×

Companies that lead with technology instead of organizational design are 1.6 times more likely to fail at realizing AI ROI.

~67%

Of the value companies actually realize from AI comes from organizational factors — how work and decisions are redesigned — not from the tools themselves.

Not a binder. Four concrete things.

01

A working AI agent

Your own "Chief of Staff" assistant, built and saving you real time before Session 1 even ends.

02

One project, chosen well

Picked against three filters — high value, doable with what you already have, measurable within weeks.

03

Real progress, not theory

You'll have started implementing inside your own organization before the cohort ends — with coaching support along the way.

04

A peer network

6–8 fellow HR leaders wrestling with the same questions, who you'll still be calling a year from now.

Four virtual sessions. Seven weeks. One key project, start to finish.

Each session builds directly on the last. Interim coaching — small-group office hours plus an async channel — is where the real work happens between sessions.

Week 1
Session 1
Build Your AI Chief of Staff
  • Why most AI investments fail in HR — and what works instead
  • Live, guided build of your personal AI assistant
  • Working agent by end of session
Week 3
Session 2
Choose Your Lighthouse Project
  • Apply 3 filters: value, feasibility, measurability
  • Commit to the one project you'll carry through
  • Learn a repeatable AI-research method
Week 5
Session 3
Develop Solution & Action Plan
  • Turn research into a workable design
  • Governance basics: bias, privacy, decision rights
  • Build your one-page action plan
Week 7
Session 4
What We Did, Achieved, Learned
  • Report out to the group
  • Synthesize patterns across the cohort
  • Leave with a clear 90-day plan

Weeks 2, 4, and 6: interim coaching — small-group office hours, plus async Q&A support between sessions.

Not sure what your project would be? Here are some ideas...

Session 2 helps you choose — but these are the kinds of high-value, doable-in-weeks projects that turn readiness into innovative results and learning.

Recruiting

Faster, fairer first-round screening

AI-assisted resume screening paired with a structured interview guide — cuts time-to-fill and reduces inconsistency in early screening decisions.

Onboarding

A 30/60/90-day onboarding assistant

An AI agent that answers new-hire questions on demand and nudges managers on check-ins — so nothing falls through in the first 90 days.

Performance

Review-writing, cut in half

AI-drafted performance review summaries built from manager notes and 1:1 logs — managers edit and own the final word, but never start from a blank page.

Learning & Development

A personalized learning-path recommender

Matches employees to development content based on their actual role gaps and career interests, instead of a one-size-fits-all catalog.

Employee Relations

Pattern detection across ER cases

AI-assisted intake and theme-tracking across employee relations cases — surfaces systemic issues early, before they become a pattern of complaints.

Comp & Benefits

Pay-equity outlier analysis

AI-assisted review of compensation bands to flag outliers for human review — a defensible first step, not an automated pay decision.

HR Operations

An HR policy chatbot for employees

Answers routine PTO, benefits, and policy questions instantly — cuts ticket volume so your team spends time on what actually needs a human.

Workforce Planning

Skills-gap forecasting tied to the business plan

AI-assisted analysis connecting your workforce's current skills to where the business is headed — the start of a real workforce plan, not a headcount spreadsheet.

Retention

Early attrition-risk flagging

AI-assisted analysis of exit-interview themes and engagement signals to flag flight risk while there's still time to act.

These are illustrative, not prescriptive — the right project is the one that's high value, doable with what you already have, and measurable within weeks. Session 2 is built to help you find it.

Built for HR leaders ready to do something, not just discuss it.

This is a fit if you're…

  • A CHRO, CPO, or senior HR leader at a private, founder- or family-led company — roughly $10M–$100M in revenue
  • Based at an Upper Midwest company (WI, MN, IL, MI) with a knowledge-based workforce
  • Someone who believes AI adoption should be people-first, not tooling-first
  • Someone with standing to pilot a project in their own function — no engineering support needed, just room to try something

This isn't for you if…

  • · You want a passive lecture series — this is hands-on and peer-driven from minute one
  • · You're looking for enterprise-wide AI strategy for a 5,000-person company — that's a Future-Fit engagement, not this cohort
  • · You can't commit to the homework between sessions — the progress happens between the calls, not just during them

Come solo, or bring a key colleague.

HR AI plans work better with two perspectives in the room — a CPO and COO, or a CHRO and their L&D lead. Bring a colleague and save.

Founding Cohort rate — first 8 seats only, applications close September 26, 2026. Standard rate is $2,500 starting with the second cohort.

Bring a Duo
$3,500 / 2 seats

A CPO & COO, or a CHRO & their L&D lead — two perspectives, one shared project, and someone to keep you both accountable after Session 4. Off the $5,000 standard combined rate.

Reserve Your Duo

Every seat includes

  • Four virtual sessions, 2 hours each (Zoom)
  • Small-group interim coaching after Sessions 1, 2, and 3
  • Async Q&A access between sessions
  • All templates: opportunity assessment, project brief, governance quick-reference, action plan
  • A complimentary 20-minute 1:1 follow-up call after Session 4
Only 6–8 seats per cohort — kept small so the peer work actually works. Duo pricing holds seats for both people in the same cohort.

Frequently Asked

Practical answers to what most CHROs and CPOs ask before applying.

Do I need a technical background?
No. If you can use email and have an existing ChatGPT or Claude account (the free tier is enough), you have everything required. The cohort is designed for HR leaders, not engineers.
What if my project isn't finished by Session 4?
That's normal, and expected. The goal is real, visible progress on one project — not a finished rollout in seven weeks. Session 4 is a checkpoint on momentum, and you'll leave with a plan for what's next, including options for continued support.
Can my company pay instead of me?
Yes — most participants have their employer cover the seat fee as professional development. An invoice can be issued directly to your organization, for a solo seat or a duo.
Why bring a duo instead of coming solo?
Two people from the same company — say a CPO and COO, or a CHRO and their L&D lead — can pick a shared project, split the homework load, and keep each other accountable after Session 4. It's the same 4 sessions and interim coaching, just two seats at a discount off the combined solo rate.
Is this just for HR, or does it apply more broadly?
The cohort is built specifically around HR and people-function use cases — recruiting, onboarding, performance, comp, learning & development, employee relations, HR operations. The AI Chief of Staff agent you build in Session 1, though, is useful well beyond HR.
What happens after the cohort ends?
You'll get a complimentary 20-minute 1:1 call to talk through next steps. Many graduates continue with a Lighthouse Project — a focused 60-90 day engagement to fully implement their project (or the next one) with direct 1:1 support.
